Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH), commonly known as lye or caustic soda, is an essential ingredient for making cold process and hot process bar soap. 

Our sodium hydroxide is technical/industrial grade and supplied in solid form for accurate weighing and measuring. It is suitable for soap making and other appropriate technical applications. An essential staple for beginner and experienced soap makers alike.

This product is not food grade and is not intended for food preparation or consumption.

Safety: Sodium hydroxide is highly caustic and must be handled with appropriate protective equipment and care. Always wear safety glasses and chemical-resistant gloves, work in a well-ventilated area, and always add sodium hydroxide to water — never water to sodium hydroxide. Keep away from children and pets.
