Can’t Find a Date That Works?
Book a private workshop for your group and choose a date and time that works better for you. Private sessions are available for groups of four or more.
Book a private birthday party, bridal shower, team-building event or group workshop and enjoy the studio all to yourselves. Choose your preferred project, date and time.
Not at all! This workshop is designed specifically for beginners. We'll guide you through every step of the soap-making process, from safely mixing your ingredients to pouring your finished soap.
What will I make?
You'll create 12 full-size bars of cold process soap using our signature recipe. Customize your batch with your choice of fragrances, colours and botanical additives.
Is everything included?
Yes! We provide all ingredients, equipment, safety gear and instruction. Just bring yourself—we'll take care of the rest.
How long is the workshop?
The workshop lasts approximately 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to learn, create and ask questions. We recommend arriving about 10 minutes ahead of your workshop start time to settle in.
When can I use my soaps?
Cold process soap needs to cure for approximately 3-4 weeks before it's ready to use. This allows excess water to evaporate, creating a harder, longer-lasting bar.
Can I choose my own fragrance and colours?
Absolutely! You'll have access to a wide selection of fragrance oils, essential oils, colourants and botanicals so you can make a batch that's uniquely yours.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. We recommend avoiding your favourite outfit, as working with colourants can occasionally result in small splashes. Aprons are not provided.
Is this workshop suitable for children?
This workshop is intended for participants 16 years and older due to the use of sodium hydroxide (lye). We offer several family-friendly and kids' workshops for younger makers.
Can I come by myself?
Absolutely! Many of our guests attend on their own. Our workshops are welcoming, relaxed and a great way to meet other creative people.

Will I receive instructions to take home?
Yes! You'll receive a printed recipe and curing instructions so you can confidently care for your soap after the workshop.
Do you sell the supplies used in class?
Yes! We carry the same oils, fragrances, colourants, molds and other supplies used during our workshops, so you can continue making soap at home.
